Red Bull Arena Review!!!!

Stopped by the site on SAT 11/8 and a couple of things to report. PICS up on Soccer Stop shortly.

1) the SECOND deck of concrete planking has been installed from say, 18-yard box to 18-yard box on the East side.

2) Upper deck overhang of suites, preomenade on North end is taking shape.

3) what is not apparent in the webcam, but does take some time is all the cross bracing being put in place between the larger, easily recognizable pieces.

4) the West, residential / commercial zone had MAJOR grading and trenching going on. There is a 10-15 foot deep trench parallel to the main road leading from the PATH. I'm assuming this is for drainage/storm pipes, etc ... This part of the development has upped the pace BIG time in the last 3 weeks.

This will be VERY important because when the stadium is finished, there needs to be more than a dirt filed to traverse on the way to the stadium. The commercial zone's plans call for a wide avenue of sorts that meets up with mid field of the Admin building. Weather or not there are buildings on site is another thing, but I foresee something like an unfinished housing development by the time the stadium opens. Streets and fencing, but no houses (structures)
