Red Bull Review(of 09/10/2008)

I went by the site after work this evening. A couple of items of note:

Main building has probably 10% of assembly to go, with all the remaining admin building steel on site at the foot of the building.

The new first floor seating section being begun on the northeast has:
5 veins of risers up with the 4 floor spans between, in place.

Large concrete storm drain boxes have been sunk in the northwest and southwest of the site. Connections to mains still to be completed.

Almost all cleanup of concrete forms, scrap trash/wood around the site looks pretty well done. In other words, the overall appearance of the site is much tidier since SAT. It is definitely a heavy steel site now.

Trees/shrubbery on northeast has been cleared, closest to the street, looking like this may be a new entrance for steel/heavy machinery, steel delivery.

AND, I counted 9 flatbeds piled high with riser steel on site, ready to go.
With the amount of steel that went up on the new section of seating risers that took place today, I feel that the lower seating bowl steel erection will be getting sorted fairly rapidly over the next week.

Long way to go yet as we've all deduced, but standing next to the new section ... I can almost hear the first deafening roar accompanying the first twine ripping RBNY goal! Gents, this thing is awesome.
